Accessibility Statement
Thrive Skin & Wellness Clinic
Last updated: July 2026
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Thrive Skin & Wellness Clinic is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse. We want everyone who visits our website to find the information they need, book a consultation, and get in touch with us without difficulty.
We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our website and welcome feedback from anyone who experiences a barrier or difficulty.
What We Have Done to Support Accessibility
Our website is built on Squarespace, a platform that incorporates a number of built-in accessibility features. These include:
Keyboard navigation - the site can be navigated using a keyboard without requiring a mouse
Screen reader compatibility - core pages and content are structured using semantic HTML to support screen readers and assistive technologies
Colour contrast - our brand colours have been selected with readability in mind, maintaining sufficient contrast between text and background across the site
Resizable text - text on the site can be resized using standard browser controls without loss of content or functionality
Descriptive page titles - each page has a clear, descriptive title to help users navigate and orient themselves
Alt text on images - images across the site include descriptive alternative text to support visitors using screen readers
Known Limitations
We want to be transparent about areas of our website that may present accessibility challenges. We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
Custom navigation menu
Our main navigation includes a custom-coded mega menu. While we have taken steps to ensure it functions as intended across devices, it may not be fully optimised for all screen readers or keyboard-only navigation. We are aware of this limitation and are reviewing options to improve compatibility.
Custom price list
Our treatment price list has been built using custom code. As a result, it may not be fully compatible with all assistive technologies. If you have difficulty accessing pricing information, please contact us directly, and we will provide the information in an alternative format.
Standards We Are Working Towards
We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA - the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility. As a Squarespace-hosted website, some aspects of accessibility are dependent on the platform itself. We actively apply best practices within the platform's constraints and review our content regularly.
What to Do if You Experience a Barrier
If you encounter any difficulty accessing content on our website, or if you would like any information provided in an alternative format, please contact us:

Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you have suggestions for how we can improve, or if you have found an accessibility barrier not mentioned here, please get in touch at info@thriveskinandwellness.ie. Your feedback helps us make the site better for everyone.
Technical Information
This accessibility statement applies to the Thrive Skin & Wellness Clinic website at www.thriveskinandwellnessclinic.ie.
The site is built on Squarespace and uses standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Custom-coded elements have been implemented where the platform's native functionality did not meet the clinic's design or content requirements. These custom elements are the areas most likely to present accessibility limitations, as noted above.
Changes to This Statement
We review and update this accessibility statement periodically as we make improvements to the website. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last reviewed.
